Question

Who will join me in saying 'Well played' to the French. You gave a h**l of a game.

But also well done to the English, we have EARNED the right to be in the world cup final. And even if we lose, it wont be shameful, we have come from being a joke in world rugby to be world cup finalists. and that deserves respect from any rugby fan in the world. I mean true rugby fans. Not the bitter sore losers out there but the ones who appreciate what it takes to win a rugby match

Defnitely the best and most exciting match of the tournament! wodnerful clean playing form both sides, no fights (from what I could see) and a thrilling finish.!!  Well done to both sides.

I'm French and of course I'm very disappointed, but England really played well: good defense which deprived the French of a possible try in the second half, and of course MISTER Wilkinson, the sharp blade (lol) who cut France's hopes!

Well done, and as England will be the only remaining team of the northern hemisphere, I hope they will win again: 2 finals in a row would be nice.

Anyway you can be proud of your team, who, like France, doubted for a while but managed to overcome and finally are in final.

I've seen many not very pretty but fearsome and gruesome games of Rugby, played from the guts. Both teams did. It was like going back 20 or so years, the bad old kicking game. But it was game of two sets of warriors, who gave their all.

I really hate to have to admit it, but the French gave their all as well, and it hurts admitting it. Of course it would have been a much better game to watch if the French played their running expansive game, and England countered with tough their traditional tough forward play, but what we got instead was a true battle.

But we won, and I cried. I cried even more because I have not been able to go to one single game the whole tournament, when I usually get to see a couple of games from the stands.

Can't wait to see the game tomorrow, and then the final. Come on SA. But then slow down in the final so England can win.

I agree! England earned their place in the final - and even if we don't win, we can be proud of where we got!

Considering we were so derided for the South Africa match i say more than well done England. Watching them doesn't do my heart rate any good, but you can't take away the grit when it comes down to it.

France played very well, I am sorry they did not Win. The English Defence was very good. My Congratulations to the English Rugby Team and I hope they do well in the Final and maybe pull it off and Hold on to the Title.  I am Irish so no Sour Grapes from me well played.

hate to admit it...........but have to say the English defence and not the wilko boot  has earned them the final!
