Send back X-Box after RRoD...???

Question

Does anyone know the number to ring X-Box after i got the RR0D in Ireland..??

Also...what do i need to give to them..like a receipt..coz i'm not exactly sure where it is..??

no reciept is needed just the serial number on the back of the console

That other person gave good links, all I did when I sent mine back was I rang them up and explained my problem, then they took some details from me, like the email address registered to the account, your address, name etc so they know who you are. You also need to look on your xbox and find the serial code and some other stuff that's on a label somewhere, just write this down so if they ask you can tell them. This is just to identify your console.

Then they send out a courier to pick your xbox up (you need to put it in a box for them - DON'T put it in the box it came in, you won't get it back, I found out the hard way) and they take it off somewhere to fix it, then it's delivered back to your door! You just need to make sure your xbox is in warranty still or else you can't get it done for free.

If you bought it less than a year ago then you'll be alright, but if its more than a year, unless you have the extended 3 year warranty then you'll have to pay, I think it's about £100 but I might not be right.
