  1. Go to moneysavingexpert.co.uk, you get the best instructions and templates there. I used them and got mine back 2 years ago.


  2. Also to be on the safe side have this letter notarized so that its said you took an oath to say it was the truth. Send it to your local branch. Keep a copy of it for yourself in case it gets lost in the mail.

  3. The Consumer Action Group is a free help service and will lead you every step of the way, with template letters and a forum which will support you and answer queries all the way through. Even if you don't join them, it is well worth a read.

    I did see a feature about this on the GMTV web site, where there was a copy of the various letters which you had to write.
