Sending Failure SOMETIMES with IM?

Question

I have a Blackberry Pearl and use my IM through the Mobile Instant Messenger icon on the main menu (little gray and little blue people icon). I do not use the media net for IM.

Sometimes I get a "sending failure" after typing a message. Not often and sometimes during the middle of a conversation a few messages here and a few there.

Do I need to resend these messages or do they eventually show up to the other person? Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? How would I go an copy a few messages to resend them, instead of just retyping the whole message?

You need to resend messages that failed, The signal was lost between the text server and your phone.

Just reopen the message that failed and resend, this will save typing.or use the copy cut and paste feature to open in a new message to resend.

Think of it as a dropped call. You need to redial to connect.

It happens sometimes. Just wait a few minutes and it will be working again.
