Sending Music via Bluetooth

Question

Ok, I have an LG-VX8550RLK and I was wonderin what music format I need to have (if any specific one). I tried sending an mp3 formatted music file to my phone, and it keeps telling me The File Transer was not Successful because "This Bluetooth device or computer cannot process files of thise type." Should I try adn convert the file to something else, or what?
