Sending Stuff(CD Players etc) to State Prisons?

I want to know what is theprocess of sending like a walkman and some cd's to a state prison, Centinela in California. I know theres this website where you buy and they take care of the shipping, but its expensive...any alternative???

Here is a site with lots of companies that ship in to the prisons... otherwise, best advise is to contact the facility.  For the most part, gifts have to come from "A STORE"... like you can ship books from Barnes and Noble, etc... but they will be opened before handed out.  So if you want to buy a CD player, you can probably have one shipped from Amazon... call the facility and ask!
