Sending a pet overseas? Please help!!?

I am moving from New York back to my home in Ireland. And I have a pet Cat and I cannot live without her so I am going to get her sent over to Ireland. Can anybody tell me where I can get some information on how to go about doing this??

Call the airport you are going through.  They'll connect you to baggage and from there they'll tell you how to go about sending a pet.  You'll have to get a carrier with certain measurements, etc.

I would contact customs through the airport you'll be landing in. Shipping an animal internationally means that typically the animal must be quarantined to ensure that no foreign illnesses are being brought over by the animal. Some countries have very long quarantine periods so be sure that you call asap to be sure that you make the proper arrangements and do what's best for your kitty.
