Sending a text message to a radio station.....?

If I have unlimited texting on my cell phone plan, do I have to pay an extra fee when I send a text message to a radio station, to one of those 5 digit numbers?? Thanks in advance..

Yes, you'll have to pay a fee per message as it is considered a premium texting service.  It should say on the radio station's website how much texting will cost.

Edit - I have an unlimited texting plan, but the stations in our area would still charge me $0.50 per text message to enter contests, etc.  I'd confirm with your cell phone carrier and the station to make sure.
