Sending alcohol by mail

a friend asked me this, but if you sent hard liquor by like UPS, fedex, DHL, anything besides USPS. and they found out about the contents of your package, what happens? do they arrest you? sue you? or do they send a warning?

It depends on what state you are sending the alcohol to.  Some states don't allow liquor to be shipped

Fedex doesnt allow any one expect license wholesalers to send Liquor

(otherwise you can not send liquor yourself to another person

They won't allow you to ship alcohol unless your a licensed distributor..because state's liquor laws vary i regards to "trafficking"

I don't think they care as long as you package it properly so it does not break and leak all over the place.

I don't think they'll arrest you or sue you. The worst thing that will happen if it's illegal is you will pay a fine or something. Unless you send it to a minor and then you will be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by probation.
