Hi, I am wanting to send a SASE letter, but I want to send it to someone in America, and I know that they don't accept our stamps over there so I don't know what to do, I then read about International coupons, but I then read that the receiver has to go to the post office to post office and exchange them, but I want to send a letter which they will receive and then them open it do what they have to do, put it in the SASE envelope I have provided and put it in the post box.

Is there a way for me to do this, so that the receiver doesn't have to pay anything or go to the post office, just open it and post it straight back to me.

Thanks

  1. go to usps.com you can probably buy stamps (in a booklet) from them or go to e-bay.com and see inyone is selling u.s. stamps. make sure you send the right amount of postage.  right now the current amount for a reg envelope is 41 cents.

  2. International reply coupon is the obvious way.

Alternatively go to  satmp dealer in the UK and buy a couple of USA 50cent stamps and enclose them

  3. why did you write SASE if you were still going to spell it out?? lol

you have to go to the post office to send it anyway so I'd say just go there and ask them. Thats where you'll get the best info.

  4. Email, its the future and free !
