Do you NEED an agent? What happens if you dont have one?

If you get in an say it takes place in Hollywood, do they pay for your flight if you live on the other side of the country?

How do they contact you?

  1. I think they will like you more and you'll seem more professional if you do have angent.

You'll have to talk to them about if they pay. They'll probaly have like 20 ppl who get in but dont get too worried about that you have a long while until that.

They contact you on a phone...im pretty sure

    Hope I Helped!!!!!!!

  2. You're going to want an agent if you're going to be cast in a movie and if you're going to need to sign contracts. That way they can handle you and your career with ease. Never forget that parents, with the right idea of the business, can be agents.

I don't think they pay for your flight. One of my friends got a small role in a film shot in New York, but she still had to pay for her flight out there. I doubt that you will be paid for.

In the biz, "our people will call your people" is their famous catchphrase. I've auditioned for commercials and movies before, and when they don't want you, they normally just don't call (you'll know if this is true or not because they'll give you a final date that they'll contact you by if they're interested). If they are interested, you might be asked to come for a callback, which can be held wherever the film is being shot. If this happens, be prepared to pay for your flight. If you make the final film, they will either email or call you.

    Best of luck!
