Sending letters from Aus to New Zealand?

My friend is going over to New Zealand for 2 weeks and I was wondering if it would cost .50c to post letters and postcards? and if not how much it will cost?

Postage for postcards is $1.30 and for normal letters (under 50g), $1.35
