I have an address but I don't know what is what.

Wolff Galerie

78 rue Julien-Lacroix F-75020

Paris

Yes, I mean Paris France.

Is the "F" part of the Street or the postal code?

  1. Yes, the F stands for France. In Europe, they use these shortened abbreviations rather than writing out 'France'.

  2. The F shouldn't be there. The correct address is:

    Wolff Galerie

    78 rue Julien Lacroix

    75020 Paris

    France

    French addresses are always:

    1. name

    2. street number and street name

    3. 5-digit postal code and city

The F is probably some international code for France used by postal services only. But writing to France from abroad, just add "France" under the address.
