Sending photos from camera, to computer, to Yahoo group photos?

I can take the picture connect camera to laptop, find picture in Adobe photoshop elements 5, I then go to my Yahoo group photos to add photo. I can open the picture in Adobe, but can't find it when I press the 'browse' button before using 'add photo'. There is something very simple I'm missing and hope someone can help.

Don't use adobe

Just go to flickr, press on the upload link and then navigate to the folder on your computer where you put the photos(usually mydoc,mypics). click on the first pic press shift and on the last pic at the same time then just press OK and follow the instructions from there..
