Hi,

I am planning to send my six year old daughter on Lufthansa from NY to Bangalore. Has anybody done this? If so please tell me if it is safe, if the crew will take good care of her. She is a smart girl but she is only a child and I am freaking out thinking about sending her alone. Kindly let me know your genuine experiences. Thanks for all your answers.

  1. it is safe if direct flight

  2. Lufthansa is good air lines but the question is who is taking care of here when she reach Bangalore, does she know the people ? I am sure she is smart but still u need to teach her she should not be telling people in the plane she is alone and not to carry stuff from people to take care of her passport and u should make a copy of her passport and keep it with u  as a women i am going with my basic instincts but if u already planed then start putting positive energy  to it and be bold .

  3. send her by any indian airlines with direct arrivel to banglore. & ofcourse any mother ll get worry to send her 6yr lil child alone. DONT WORRY :)

  4. www.tourisminindia.com

  5. Check on their website, and most of your questions will be answered. The more rules the airline has in place, the better choice it is. Click on the link below,

This details all that they do for your child's safety. Personally, I think a 6 year old is too young to travel alone. Talk to one of their customer service representative and you will feel more comfortable of your decision. 800 645 3880. Cheers

  6. It is absolutely safe.  Airline staff will take due care of your daughter and she will have no problem.
