Question:

Senior Trip on a cruise?

I am trying to convince my senior class to go on a cruise for our senior trip, however they are having the whole probel with the adult in every room to which we have about 60+ kids in my class and there must be people to supervise. What should I do...and if there are any ideas please share,

  2. How about a tour to someplace in Europe. With 60+ people you should be able to get a group rate and you'll have a little more freedom and less adults supervising

  3. This will be difficult to plan.  First, cruises are fairly expensive, depending on where you want to cruise.  Then you will have to have many adult chaperones......one per cabin, because I think you must be 21 to be in a cabin without an adult.  Good luck!

I used to teach high school band.  The choir director that I shared an office with took her 28 person show choir on two separate cruises.  There was no requirement for an adult to be in each cabin...at least there wasn't 3-4 years ago when she did this.  Keep researching, call travel agents and cruise companies.  In addition, look at companies like "Super Holiday Tours" (www.superholiday.com) who specialize in booking travel for student groups.
