  1. oh goodness....A LOT!

    there are-

    graduation announcements

    the cap and gown

    any graduation parties

If your school charges a fee for transcripts, there will be that

    graduation pictures

At the school I went to- we did "senior overalls" so, if there is a tradition like that, you will have that expense

    Prom....the dress, etc

    Homecoming....the dress, etc...

has she applied to college? or is she? because, that is a WHOLE different ball field! You have application fees, and deposits....(but, the up side to that is that there ARE scholarships she can apply for!)

Senior year is SUCH a busy year, and whoever said it was  the best, was totally lying! It is the BUSIEST!

    Be prepared!!!

  2. Just went through it with my two girls.... let see: (totals are for both of them to divide it in half)

-Applying to colleges: $550 (applications cost between $35-50 each)

    -Cap and Gown: $200

-Senior Pictures (taken and given pictures): $120

    -Prom Dresses: $350

-Prom itself, limo, flowers, pre-prom...all that fun stuff (some was paid by them): I paid $400

    -Homecoming: $200

    -College Deposits: $550

Expect the big 18th, her to stop putting effort into school after she's gotten into college, the want to be ANYWHERE but school come the spring...and for the feeling of "where the h**l did time go?" to set in for you!
