Senior picture help?

I'm taking senior photos for a friend of mine in 2 days. She has all her outfits planned, and she's given me a few example pictures of what she wants. But I'm kind of nervous, I don't want them to turn out bad. Does anybody have some tips on posing, locations, lighting? Or how about some photo sites that have some senior photos so that I can get a better idea of how to pull it all together? Also, this may be hardest of all, how can I fake studio photos? Because I do not have a studio! I think it would be nice to mix in outdoor and indoor. All appropriate answers are welcome. Thank you very much, it would really help me out!

you can hang up a sheet for the background. and bring out some lamps for lighting. you should probably have her sitting. oh and experiment with angles. they made me turn my head in strange ways but it actually turned out fine.
