Senior project research paper ideas?

I've got a 79 camaro that i'm putting an lt1 in and it's going to be a drag car. that's what i'm doing for my project, but what will i label it? and what will my paper be about? it has to be analytical (as in analyzing a possibly debatable subject) so i was thinking something along the lines of japanese performance vs. domestic performance, but that is highly opinionated. i also thought about japanese vs. domestic in general, but my car project doesn't connect to that very well. i would love to do after market capabilities (specifically drag racing) on import vs. domestic, but you just don't see that many jappy drag cars. help?!?!?!! thanx:)

You can write a paper on Japanese performance vs domestic performance without being biased. It would definitely be a research paper since you will be having to look up all kinds of data. Be very informative and unbiased.

Remember, the result of the paper CAN be that they are both equal. If fact, if you find your research leads you to believe that they are equal, you can write a paper titled "Why Japanese and American Cars Are the Same," and prove the to reader that his or her previous biased is wrong.

If you find that American cars are better, write a paper titled "Why American Muscle Still Tops Japanese Technology," and back it up with facts.

or "Japanese Performance Cars Deserve American Respect" and state why.. with facts.

You may even toss in the Euro cars.

There is a lot of topics you can with your current genre, but what you have now works. Just be unbiased and use your facts.
