Senior quote suggestions needed

okay i'm a high school senior in a very small school. about 500 kids (grades 7-12) and very conservative. i've gone to this school for the entire 5 years and am planning to leave and go to a big city (like where i lived before high school). so i'm looking for a song that i can use for my senior quote. i'd like it to reflect that:

*the school/town blows

*i'm not a small town girl

*i'm ready for my future

*i can't wait to get out

also, i don't like country or rap so i can't relate to any of them. if you guys have ANY suggestions, it'd be greatly appreciated

****it can also be a quote from an author or historian, it really doesn't matter. I just want it to be meaningful and something i can relate to that isn't overly cliche****

  1. Well...for my senior quote in the yearbook I put nitwit oddment blubber and tweak just cause I had nothing better to say and I really didnt care about the school.  Like you, I am from a small town and am going to college in a big city in the fall!!  WHOO but also on my brick I got to paint in my english class I wrote Friends are like Taco Bell.  They can make you sick but you still love them.  haha none of these are serious, but if your like me, you dont really want a sappy quote.  But if you do here is one: dont cry because its over, smile because it happened.

    Song: Graduation Day

    by the Four Freshman

    There's a time a for joy

    A time for tears

A time we'll treasure through the years

    We'll remember always

    Graduation day

    At the senior prom

    We danced 'til three

And there you gave your heart to me

    We'll remember always

    Graduation day

    Take it away

    Take five

    Though we leave in sorrow

    All the joys we've known

    We can face tomorrow

    Knowing we'll never walk alone

    When the ivy walks

    Are far behind

No matter where our paths may wind

    We'll remember always

    Graduation day

    We'll remember always

    Graduation (day) day
