I have this weird noise in my left ear. It doesnt sound like that ordianary buzzing noise u hear after a loud party and your trying to sleep. I woke up this morning for work and about an hour in it starting flipping out. It feels as if were more sensitive to the noise and making a different vibrating type of noise. Well my question is... anyone know why this is happening??! im scared i dont want to go deaf!

---some facts---

--got only 5 hours of sleep

--naturally listen to my ipod all the time

--My ac is loud at night when i sleep so i guess it doesnt give them a rest at all.. and im sure everyone needs some rest for their ears haha.

thanks for helping!?

  1. I'm no doctor but hearing is one of my pet issues.  Your hearing is a relatively finite thing.  Meaning that the more noise you are exposed to the more hearing loss you will have over time.  Constant noises are worse than periodic louder noises.  So I would consider laying off the ipod for a while and keep the volume low when you do use it.  Avoid loud parties/concerts as this is guaranteed hearing damage.  Also consider ear plugs.  I used to take a lot of NSAIDS and over the years found my hearing became very sensitive to noise (in addition to other symptoms) as well.  See a doctor too but give your ears a break in the meantime.  I only wish I could take back the abuse I've given my ears in the past!!
