Sensitive tooth and it feels like it cracks ..please help!!!!

ok im a 16 year old male and i have a sensitive tooth even when i touch it and when i drink something really cold it feels like it cracks inside, kind of like a ice cube does when you put it in something what do you think this could be from?

  1. A good product call GEL-KAM by Colgate.

    Excellent product recommend by dentist.  Coat the problem tooth day and night, pain away.


  2. actually gel-kam is just stannous flouride, this won't really help you most likely because at your age the problem is unlikely to be because you have exposed root surface on the tooth since that usually happens to older people.  I would definately get this tooth checked by a dentist its possible there is an infection there

  3. Cold sensitivity can be caused by a number of things, so it's hard to tell what exactly is making your tooth hurt. You need to go to the dentist so they can properly diagnose you.
