How can I seperate (or edit it so it looks like I did) a photo into CMYK layers?

  1. I'm not sure if I understand what it is you are trying to do. A file that has been converted to CMYK color space will not look substantially different from an RGB image. You might be able to tell one from the other, if the RGB image has bright colors that can't be duplicated in CMYK.

    You are also using the term CMYK Layers. CMYK applies to the CHANNELS.


  2. Most image editing programs allow RGB separation. Maybe the full featured Adobe Photo Shop allow CMYK.

    To make it 'look like' you did I would make 4 copies of the 1 picture. Turn them all into a gray scale image then tone each one the color you want but with the K one make it a harsher contrasty BW image..
