September/October weather in cozumel & things to do?

Hi,

whats the weather normally like in cozumel in september/october?

Also what good things are there to do?

OK - someone is going to tell you not to go because it's right in the middle of hurricane season but the actual chances of anyone spot getting hit by a hurricane are very small, less than 1%.

Generally speaking the weather is warm and sunny. You will get rain, it's a tropical climate but the rain is typically intense and of short in durration. It's perfect weather for a beach vacation.

There's tons of things to do in Cozumel, dive, snokel, parasail, Mayan ruins, shopping, golf, etc. You can take the ferry to Playa del Carmen, once there there's even more to do, more shopping, restaurants, eco-parks, more Mayan ruins, discos, swimming with dolfins, cenotes, etc. etc. I been to the area many many times and I still haven't exhausted all the cool things there are to see and do in the area.

If you are worried about hurricane's by trip insurance or book last minute and check the tropical storm tracker on www.wunderground.com. Lastly, wunderground has historical weather but when you are looking at Cancun or Cozumel don't be surprised if they are reporting a lot of rain - see above comment about tropical climate.
