September Wedding in Cancun!?

Hi There!

Yes we know it's in the rainy season, and the hurricane season but prices are cheaper for us and our guests so we want to take our chances :) My question is: What would be the best time of day to book our outdoor ceremony? specifically, what time of day is it most likely to rain?

The mornings are usually clear but when it heats up you get rain, sometimes just for a while other times for days.

Let's put it this way. In some of the areas of Mexico, the sun shines and is nice and warm and then a split second it can get cloudy. That's usually all the warning you will get and suddenly it rains, just like Florida, California, Jamaica to name a few.

Good luck on your wedding in Cancun, but also bear in mind that usually weddings that are located in a different country where the guests reside, will produce very few people attending the wedding. I myself declined a wedding invitation for a wedding in Jamaica due to the high cost to bear to attent the wedding. Not impressed.

Rainy season = Florida summer weather. Hot humid and late day thunderstorms. I might chance it with a back up plan.

Find out when the exact time of the sunset on that day and say " I do " when the sunset makes georgeous colors against the clouds. Hopefully no rain clouds ,but none the less,the sun and the light ,when it reflects is incredible..............
