September cruise to Cozumel Mexico?

I was wondering if September is a bad time to go on a cruise to Cozumel Mexico? If so what would a better month be?

Weather is unpredictable. Yes, hurricane season is at it's peek but that doesn't mean you will encounter one. The captain of the ship will steer clear of tropical storms. So I would not worry. Be prepared with travel insurance that covers weather, just in case your cruise is cancelled all together.

I think the best time to cruise is May or June.

June would be a better time to go. September is the worst time as thats when the major storms hit. If you go in september you run the risk of a bad hurricane !!  Your  ship will probably sink and you will drown and then be eaten by the sharks!!!!      have fun

Cancun hurricane season lasts from June to November with the highest chance of a hurricane occurring being in September and October.That said,your chances are slim that you will encounter any extreme weather.Your Captain will have the latest and most accurate weather forecast available and will not put his ship or any of the passengers & crew in harms way.Cozumel is a great destination. Have a wonderful time in/on Cozumel.
