Septiahadi Pratama thrashes Fiqih Ramadhan in Men’s Singles third round at Pertamina Open
Indonesia’s spirited player Septiahadi Pratama showed his brilliance on court in Men’s Singles third round and stamped his mark over the lower ranked Fiqih Ramadhan at the Pertamina Open Badminton Championships 2012 at Jakarta, Indonesia, on Tuesday, December

The 13th seeded Septiahadi, who showed a great performance in the starting round of the tournament, proved his mettle in the third round and easily overpowered Fiqih which taking the court time for just 30 minutes.
Septiahadi played to his maximum potential as he did not slow down his speed at any stage in the match and eventually remained successful in winding it up in two games with a striking margin on the board.
On the contrary, the lower ranked Fiqih put in extra effort to create pressure on his higher ranked compatriot but he failed to create any difference and ultimately crashed out without proving his worth.
Septiahadi showed an amazing aggression in the arena from the initial rallies of first set by creating a huge pressure on his rival.
The highly elevated skills and wonderful game plan helped Septiahadi to put his opponent in all sorts of problem in the arena.
Septiahadi advanced with a superb speed in the first half and stayed ahead on the board until the interval.
The un-seeded Fiqih tried to live up to expectations but failed to get stronger after the one-minute break as he lost his focus on court.
It was a smooth sailing for the in-form Septiahadi who did not face any tough resistance from his opponent and won the opening game with a staggering 21-14 margin on the board.
Fiqih was once again in trouble in the following set as he faced a punishing treatment from his opponent who was aggressive on court.
Septiahadi displayed his unparalleled skills on court by taking the bird timely from all corners and kept his upper hand over his challenger.
In the ending part of second game, the lofty Septiahadi continued his smooth sailing and easily grabbed the set with a convincing 21-16 score on the board.
The higher ranked Indonesian proved his mettle in the arena and ended up this Men’s Singles third round battle in just 30 minutes with an inspiring margin of 21-14 and 21-16.
