Sequence set to stand first in the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing EBF Galtres Stakes (Listed Race) (Fillies & Mares)
Two recently-accomplished consecutive conquests have boosted up the Sir Michael Stoute trained bay filly Sequence’s morale to a great extent.
Now, she seems to be quite ready to make a big impact in any big race. Thus, it is hoped that the three-year-old young runner will compete audaciously at York racecourse, where she is set to participate in the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing EBF Galtres Stakes (Listed Race) (Fillies & Mares).
The high-voltage contest will take place on Thursday, August 23. For the glorious victory worth £22,684, she will unleash a solid run along with electric pace on the good to firm track of 1 mile and 4 furlongs.
Sequence debuted in November 2011. After a couple of mediocre performances, the daughter of Selkirk, out of mare Sinntara finished as the runner-up in the NEPIC Maiden Fillies' Stakes that was held at Newcastle on May 31, 2012.
The Queen owned Irish sprinter broke her maiden by winning the Tyregiant.com Handicap at Thirsk racecourse on July 27.
Considering this impressive performance, the punters regarded the fantastic filly as the hot-favourite candidate for the very next race, entitled as Hiscox Chairman's Handicap (Betfair 10 Furlong Flat Series Qualifier).
The brilliant runner won the Class 4 race at Newmarket.
Cherishing these two triumphs, Sequence will be able to thrive convincingly in the coming contest
Bite Of The Cherry will be her biggest threat, who nicely bagged her maiden victory on July 28, 2012. That was the NSPCC Family Day Handicap, held at Newmarket.
Prior to this, the Michael Bell trained brown filly finished as the runner-up in the E B F Arthur Budgett Memorial Maiden Fillies' Stakes, took place at Epsom on July 5.
Although, Bite Of The Cherry will show enough resilience against Sequence, but success is likely to fall in the lap of the latter.
The spectators will enjoy the thrill-laden event a lot.
