Sequential to dominate the Grade OR Primrose Celebration Stakes at Oxford
Sequential brings tough competition to the Grade OR Primrose Celebration Stakes at Oxford on 22nd March, 2012. She will be competing against Bright Mac, Guinness Pirate, Defi Quest, Bourneville, and Slick Sinatra for £150 over 250 metres.
With odds of 11 to 8, Sequential will be racing as a favourite. David Pruhs’s hard work and training has taken effect as the black b***h has acquired placed finishes throughout the season.
She finished as a runner-up in the Grade OR The Coral On TV b*****s Trophy – Heat 2 at Romford on 27th February, 2012. She started the race quickly but was disputed throughout, she finished 1 ¾ lengths after Fancy Socks who finished in 24.02 seconds
where as she finished in 24.16 seconds.
The rivalry with Fancy Socks continued in to the final. This time Sequential emerged victorious finishing ahead of the race favourite by 2 ¼ lengths in 24.11 seconds.
This victory was significant as the bookmakers deemed her as joint favourite in the Grade OR Romforddogs.com b*****s on 9th March, 2012. She finished in 24.27 seconds where as winner Kilelton Anni finished in 24.07 seconds. Sequential fell short
of the victory by 2 ½ lengths.
The daughter of Hondo Black, out of Jillaine Velvet is gaining popularity in the market, the punters will be keeping a watch on her.
Slick Sinatra may give Sequential a tough time on the track as he has performed incredibly well this season. The son of Droopys Scolari, out of Little Flutter, will be racing with odds of 11 to 4, looking to claim a placed finish.
The N. Colton trained hound finished fifth in the Grade IR Bags/Sis Easter Bunny Sprint Heat 2 in 15.37 seconds where as the winner Adamant Brian completed the course in 15.09 seconds.
He is gaining bets on the basis of his performance throughout the season as he triumphed in the Grade KS Owners Bonus Series Final at Oxford on 1st March, 2012. He entered with odds of 9 to 4 and defeated Geneva Robbie by a narrow margin of a
length.
His victory carried on to the next race at Oxford on 10th March, 2012. This time he competed with odds of 2 to 1 as a favourite in the Grade D1 250m flat race where he defeated Headofthebank by a short-head in 15.19 seconds.
Bright Mac, also trained by Colton, has familiarity with this track as he has raced here for most of his career, a definite advantage that he has over the other hounds. The son of Ballymac Maeve, out of Green Pea, bagged a victory with odds of 5 to 2 in
the Grade D1 250m flat race at Oxford on 17th March, 2012, where he defeated Tictac Gold by ¾ of a length in 15.27 seconds.
The bettors speculate Sequential will finish first based on her previous performances but the situation may turn out to be different from what they have predicted. This will be her debut at Oxford where as Slick Sinatra has experience on this kind of track,
something that will work in his favour. Bright Mac may be looking at a finish in third.
