Sequia lodge Paris Disneyland? anyone been??

Question

Hi, I have a holiday booked for disney land Paris, staying at the sequia lodge, has anybody stayed there? what the hotel like? any tips please? taking our 2 1/2 y-o-daughter.. is the food as terrible as I have heard? and how far is disneyland to the nearest town/villiage?(thinking we may run out to eat if there is a nearby alternative)

also my niece is having 7th birthday "dinner" there.. which is the best restaurant for that??

I am sorry to say that I really didn't like the Sequoia Lodge i thought it was dirty. i have also stayed in the New York and thought that was much nicer. I visited the Newport Bay Club as my friend had booked a room there and that was nice too.  The food was fine though the usual continental breakfast. I did see some kids at the Manhattan Restaurant have breakfast with Disney characters and they were so happy having their photos taken.

wouldn't stay at any disney resort hotel, stay outside in paris itself and shuttle in
