We've stayed at the Hotel Cheyenne before, when the kids were a bit younger. It was fine & I'm considering booking there again for Dec 08. However I've been told the Sequoia Lodge is a lovely place to stay for a winter break to Disney as the have real fires, real pine trees etc & it has the perfect atmosphere for Xmas. If you've been there in winter can you let me know what you think? Thanks.

  1. Personally I have not, but I can recommend a very useful site full of valuable reviews, www.tripadvisor.com In this case just follow the link:

  2. Yes, it's lovely.  We stayed there in February 2000 (so a few years ago) but would recommend it.  It's very cosy with the pine woods and is only about a 10 minute walk around the lake from the park.  Try to get a lake view room.

The New York hotel also looked really nice as it has an ice rink in the winter; I don't know what the rooms are like but it always looked lovely when we used to walk past it on the way back to Sequoia lodge.  Enjoy!
