Serbian Tennis Ace, Ana Ivanovic aims to return to the top rank of women’s tennis
The twenty two year old Serbian tennis ace Ana Ivanovic is eyeing to usurp the world top rank of tennis again.
In a very recent interview, the Serb tennis veteran expressed her views and future ambitions very bluntly. No doubt, the win in the Generali Ladies Linz tennis tournament which was held in Austria has given her a strong confidence boost for the upcoming
tennis events and now she seems more eager to snatch more wins.
It is to be notified that the title in Austria was her first title after two years, as she has been out of the tennis scene because of suffering from an injury. However, she is back now and she is aiming for the top spot of tennis ranking.
Ivanovic said that she is trying her level best to improve her performance and she is very well aware of her remarkable capabilities. She added that she deserves one of the top positions in the tennis ranking and she is very much confident of getting back
her lost glory.
Ivanovic expressed her thoughts and told the media that she is ready to give her full to improve her ranking now, as she is perfectly fit and can outclass any rival in the tennis court. She further added that she is really keen to get back to the top and
wants it to happen as soon as possible.
It is to be notified that her absence from the tennis circuit and her bad form of tennis slumped her WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) ranking to sixty five but according to her, the ninth title of her career is a vivid sign of her new and improved playing
form.
The victory in Austria has no doubt given her a new inspiration for the future and she seems very excited and happy about it. While talking to the media she said that she is feeling great as she has worked really hard to regain her lost winning streak. She
added that the victory in the Generali Ladies Linz tennis event means so much to her and she just can’t express her sheer excitement.
After securing the world number one rank in 2008, the Serbian ace suffered bad tennis form and was strongly criticized by the critics as well. She also won her first Grand Slam title in 2008 in Paris but later she seemed slightly out of touch and the bad
playing form dragged her out of the top twenty ranks very quickly. She was strongly criticized by the critics and tennis fans.
When Ana Ivanovic was asked about the matter, she stated that after grasping the world number one rank, she started to work even harder but injury problems made her suffer. She added that the injuries affected her motivation and concentration over the game
and she endured some disappointing defeats. She said that a victory makes a player more confident for the next match and she is happy that she has regained her lost confidence now.
The twenty two year old seems dedicated for the upcoming challenges. She is working very hard these days and is motivated for the bigger and crucial challenges ahead. The current world number twenty six is ready to give her all to claim the world’s top title.
The Serb is now going to participate in the Luxembourg Open tennis tournament. She is seeded fourth for the event and aiming to clutch one more major title for her.
