Serena Williams - The Bothersome Williams Baby

Tennis enthusiasts certainly love to watch Serena Williams strike on the tennis court. Her perfection in the sport seems to be imaginary. The 28-year-old Serena stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and has numerous royals to her professional career. So far she has won 2 Olympic Gold medals, 2010 Wimbledon Championship, 2009 WTA tour, 2 Grand Slams in the same calendar year, 2 Hopman Cup Titles, 5 Australian Open tournaments and 1 French Open title. She is the unparalleled player that holds championships of the Australian Open singles and doubles, French Open, US open and Grand Slam.
Serena Jameka Williams is currently the world’s number 1 tennis player; both, in singles as well as the doubles. She is the first female to earn the highest career money. Her career money amounts to US $ 32,773,004. Serena has also been contributing to the social sector and has funded a secondary school in Kenya named after her. Williams has worked remarkably for the breast cancer patients and has received a Role Model Award from Avon. She has also been involved in providing support to various clinics and health centres for the welfare of youth.
Despite the long list of sovereigns to her list, Serena seems to have issues with her anger management. It is believed that the current number 1 star of the world finds it hard to accept defeat. In a game of high uncertainty, Serena desires to secure her title every time. And if that does not happen; from the referees to the fans to the opponents, each one has to bear Serena’s uncontrollable tantrums.  To make matters worse, Serena is often seen encouraged for her unsportswoman-like-behaviour by her parents. Whether it is Serena’s mother or the big William; they find a way to hold up to their darling daughter’s attitude.
Serena’s irrepressible wrath is similar to past tennis star John McEnroe’s childish behaviour. McEnroe was seen swearing at officials in front of millions of audiences in his era. When asked for an explanation of his despised behaviour, McEnroe plainly pointed out the mistakes of the officials and referees, transferring the blame on them.  While Serena was penalized in the US Open 2009, John McEnroe extended his full verbal support while commenting on the match. McEnroe and his fellow commentator Enberg highly condemned the official, who declared Williams foot fault. They went on to add that the official should not have brought up the issue at such a pivotal point. Despite McEnroe’s ardent support to Serena’s unacceptable behaviour, John was aghast when the disqualified Tennis sensation cited him as her behavioural role model. The-young-angry-man of the past believes that he has learnt how to tackle down his emotions and make constructive use of them.
Williams was heard regretting her behaviour in front of press. She declared that this was not the right way to react and she wished she had not sworn at the officials in the final. She went on to add that she reacted improperly and this was not the right thing to do.
With the US Open controversy bringing much harm to the popular tennis star, her recent outburst against Farmers Classic has been a source of gossip for millions of tennis enthusiasts. A few days ago, Serena met James Blake and promoted the then upcoming Farmers Classic ATP tournament. Once back home, Serena assumed she will be getting a free ride to the show. But the poor committee failed to realize the efforts put in by Serena and asked $ 100 for the ticket. Serena, who thought she had all rights to a free tour, immediately ranted about the officials’ insane behaviour. She tweeted to 1.7 million on Twitter,”Omg! The Farmers Classic tennis tournament in LA is charging me $100 a ticket... After I plugged them!!! Lol ill send a bill for my plug!” She continued on, “Use Serena Williams then over charge her to see tennis! Lol. I would have been happy to pay $1000 if I did not plug them. Anyhow don't go if u r in LA”
The star struck Serena Williams could not display a bit of courtesy by requesting the officials to reconsider their decision. If Serena is not wise enough with her emotions in future, her immense achievements will not be able to shield the hatred and bias from media and fans. In the fast-pace world of information, news and networking, the precise 140-character message on Twitter can bring Serena’s stardom rumbling down in seconds.
