Why are they making a big deal about how serena acted after she lost to venus. It is just another opponent to her and she dosnt like to lose and that is a good thing! She isnt supposed to jump up and down for joy because her sister won!

  1. I agree completely. It was a hard match, she played amazing, she had her hopes up with a reason and  no one should talk about how she acted after the match was over.

  2. You are right. However, it did not set an example for good sportsmanship. Some ofcourse interpreted Serena's talk as very artificial too.

Federer for example, was pretty emotional too after his loss, but he looked very genuine when he complimented Nadal, and when he felt the pain of his loss.

And this was for Nadal who was not related to Fed in any way. It is only natural one expects a better reaction from Serena.

  3. Agreed

  4. I find it surprising because she really dissed her sister. I know Serena hates to lose and usually never gives credit to her opponent after losing but Venus is her sister. Right after Serena lose when she was interviewed on NBC she was saying how she was happy for her sister and how she was clapping for her but in the news conference she did a 180, really not giving any credit to her sister. Also when Serena loses there is usually some truth about her not playing to her best but the stats don't support her this time. Statistically she was better than Venus in almost every category except conversion of break points. So that's mostly why I was shocked of what she said.
