Ignashevich has lamented his side’s 3-1 Russian Premier League defeat against Amkar Perm, saying that they would have won the game had there been more attackers
CSKA Moscow defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergei-Ignashevich-c32956, has urged his team-mates to alter the situation after losing their latest Russian Premier League tie 3-1 against Amkar Perm at Stadion Zvezda on Saturday.
Though CSKA managed to get an equalizer after falling behind early in the game, the Moscow-based club dropped all three points after conceding two more goals during the first-half.
“It was not our day. We thoroughly prepared to meet Amkar and expected a good outcome of the game. But we made a bunch of stupid errors, cancelling out the coach's work and dashed the hopes of our fans.” The UEFA Cup winner was
quoted as saying.
Ignashevich and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-Dzagoev-c4249 received straight red cards as the Armeytsy recorded their first defeat of the ongoing league campaign. Consequently, the aforementioned players will serve a three-match suspension.
CSKA, meanwhile, will be without the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Seydou-Doumbia-c33175 for an indefinite period, as the Ivorian striker sustained a back injury against the Red-blacks.
With Dzagoev suspended, Doumbia injured and Tomas Necid’s future yet to be decided after the Czech footballer reportedly expressed his desire to leave the Moscow-based club this summer, CSKA are short of strikers at the moment.
Ignashevich went on to admit that CSKA are lacking attacking options at the moment and they need to find decent players this summer.
“We have just one striker in our team at the moment. To talk about the problems in the attack, you must have a variety of attacking options. With one striker in the team, it is very difficult. Besides all, midfielders actively
engage with forwards to create an attacking move,” He said
If speculations are to be believed, the Armeytsy are closing in on signing Anderlecht’s Matias Suarez for reportedly seven million Euros.
According to some reports, the Argentine forward, who scored twelve goals in 35 league appearances for his former club last season, has already signed a four-year contract and will join his new club in the next few days.
