Pesyakov started his professional career from a Russian First Division club, FC Shinnik Yaroslavl. After spending four seasons with the Russian outfit, the shot-stopper decided to move to a bigger club, Spartak Moscow.
But his stint at the Moscow-based club neither benefited him nor the club. Pesyakov sustained an injury that sidelined him for much of the season and he failed to make an impression.
He was then loaned out to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Tom-Tomsk-c39228, where he made 26 appearances in all competitions.
Pesyakov had a perfect start to life at the Trud stadium until the Asians head coach, Sergei Perednya, created competition by signing, Aleksei Botvinyev, from FC Saturn Moscow Oblast.
Though the arrival of another fine goalkeeper strengthened the Siberians goalkeeping position, it limited Pesyakov’s first team chances.
In a bid to give Pesyakov more playing time on the pitch, Spartak Moscow then loaned him out to the Selmashi. Pesyakov has now revealed his love for the Moscow-based club and reiterated his desire to return to the Spartak stadium
one day.
“I am constantly thinking about Spartak return.” The former Shinnik Yaroslavl was quoted as saying.
Upon his transition to Rostov, Pesyakov has revealed that he does not want to waste any more time on the bench and revealed that he will fight for a starting berth.
“I received a phone call from Rostov-on-don, they were interested in signing me. They assured me of a starting role.
“I am looking for a good career ahead but the most important thing is the fans. They are very much active in supporting the team.” The 23-year-old said
Pesyakov went on to admit that the White-greens are struggling at the moment but assured the fans of a good third league round.
