Sergio Aguero pledges future to Manchester City – Football news
Manchester City forward, and Argentine goal scoring machine, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero has gone on to commit his future to the Blue side of Manchester.
This past season, Aguero failed to perform to the best of his abilities, in fact, the way things were going at City, many felt that he might just end up leaving the club, in search of football elsewhere.
However, the player has gone on to dismiss any and all rumours linking with a move out of the club, as he is reported to have said, “There are always rumours in the summer, all the time, but I am very happy at City. I've got four more years on my contract,
I'm going to work hard for City and everything else is just rumours.”
“Every player wants to play in big teams that win titles. We didn't win anything last season but we have won trophies in the last few years, so there is no reason to go,” he added.
A number of teams were supposedly looking to secure the services of Aguero, who scored the goal which helped City win their first league title in over forty years. However, with the player making it rather apparent that he has no plans of moving on, it seems
like all the teams which were looking to land him, will have to look elsewhere.
Nonetheless, Aguero has admitted that this past season, wasn’t the best that he has had. He feels that him, along with the rest of the team will have to do much better in the coming season, in order for the club to get back to winning ways.
He then went on to add, “All we have to do is look at the present, who is coming next and make sure we build things properly for next season. It's just part of football.”
Next season, City are going to be under the management of a new manager. Whoever comes in, will have a lot of work cut out for him, in order for him to build on that what http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has done with the team in recent years.
