Manchester City striker and Argentine international, Sergio Aguero has gone on to admit that he wishes to follow in the footsteps of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 Maradona.
The Argentine, who is Maradona’s son in law, feels that the form that Maradona showed for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 is about as good as any player can get for his club and as a result Aguero wishes to play the same way for City.
The twenty three year old was signed by City for a fee worth around thirty five million pounds from Atletico Madrid and since then he has gone on to score an impressive six goals in four games.
However, despite his form seemingly being rather impressive, the player still hopes to improve in the future and hopefully be as great as Maradona once was.
The striker is quoted to have said: "I hope I can help Manchester City do great things like Diego did with Napoli.”
He then admitted that his primary task was to win titles for City and he hopes to start achieving that goal this season.
"I’m coming here to help the team develop and win titles and if we can do that this year, it will be perfect. But we’ll keep on trying to get better and better and I hope to play a big part in that."
So far City have had a very impressive start to their season. The team is currently playing some of the best football that they have ever played and are currently tied with Manchester Untied on top of the Premier League table, with only the goal difference
separating the two sides.
It seems like City might have finally reached their true potential, which is good news for neutral football fans, but pretty bad news for fans of every other club. Instead of being the pushovers that they once used to be, City now go into every game as the
favourites to come out on top.
The team is currently set to make its debut in the Premier League and Aguero is hoping to help his side progress as far as he possible can in Europe.
The player has admitted that he has plenty of experience in the Champions League and that he would be looking to use it to help City get the edge over their opponents.
"I played with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League and we had a good campaign.

"With City, we’re looking to go as far as we can, but now we’re just concentrating on the group stage."
