Sergio Batista looking to sue Diego Maradona as former Argentina managers go up against each other
Former Argentine manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-Maradona-c11160 and is looking to take the former Argentine goal scoring machine and manager to court, over some comments that the current Al Wasl in charge made about Batista.
According to a number of sources, Batista had asked his lawyer to take Maradona to court quite some time ago, but apparently he waited till just now to file a formal case against the former Argentine legend.
Batista was revealed of his duties as the Argentine coach after he failed to get Argentina pat the quarter finals stage in the 2011 Copa http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/America-c38390.
Maradona allegedly went ahead and took bribes, in order to select his squad for the tournament and that is the reason for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841 failing to full fill his true potential.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Batista-c7379’s lawyer, when talking about the case and just what was going to take place is quoted to have said: "If we say that the campaign started by Maradona from his position of high public exposure - which is not synonymous with a position of respectability - reached a deliberate 'crescendo,' it is because from the initial pejorative references to my client as 'Pinon Fijo,' trying to compare him with a clown, other comments followed in the same vein”
"The terms 'cometa,' 'cometas' or 'coima' are inevitably associated in our everyday language with acts of corruption, which does not necessarily have to involve public functionaries... [Batista] expressly demands from [Maradona] evidence of the truth of every one of these hurtful allegations and will continue until the last legal avenue."
Batista is currently looking to claim a fee of around thirty two hundred pounds from Maradona, who has currently remained oddly silent about the whole situation.
Nonetheless, it is now a wait to see just how the two former teammates of the 1986 FIFA World Cup squad proceed with this scenario that they find themselves in.
