Sergio Busquets is an extraordinary player who has achieved a lot at a very young age. The Barcelona youngster plays right behind the midfield maestro Xavi Hernandez and the attacking midfielder Andres Iniesta. Sergio Busquets was a part of the campaign
in which the Catalans won six trophies in the same season; however, the current Manchester City star Yaya Toure featured often in his position back then. With Yaya Toure gone there were barely any players who could take his position in the team but Sergio
Busquets did a fine job while being under Josep Guardiola, and is known as “the genius one” in the footballing world. The youngster provides a lot to the team and with his phenomenal tackling and one touch passing he has become a part of the first team even
though Javier Mascherano is available to them at the moment.
The president of the Catalan Club, Sandro Rosell and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Busquets-c33048 sat together on Thursday morning to come to a mutual agreement. The contract is going to help him stay at the club till 2015. The buyout clause for the Spanish midfielder is now 150 million
Euros and it was 80 million Euros before.
The Spaniard joined the Catalan club back in 2008-09 when he was only 20 years old. He is 22 years old now and still wants to play for the Spanish Champions. The only player who can replace his position at the moment is the Argentinean captain http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Mascherano-c18071.
However, he is a first-team regular especially after helping the Spanish team win the FIFA World Cup 2010.
There were speculations regarding Sergio Busquets’ contract negotiations. It was expected that he might leave for the English side Manchester United as the 11 time Champions were interested in the defensive minded midfielder. However, now with the new contract
signed, he is planning to stay at the Spanish club.
