Sergio Garcia all set to become King of the Hill
Sergio Garcia is in the field of the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard, getting ready to record another impressive score.
The 32-year-old Spanish professional golf player is confident to become the King of the Hill in the upcoming mega event staged by the Professional Golf Association in Florida.
The Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard is an exciting tournament and is played every year at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge, Orlando.
All the players will be competing for the $6,000,000 purse. Out of the total purse, the winner will earn $1,080,000.
Garcia is also hopeful to record some enormous scores in the four-day tournament. His performance since January has been amazing.
He started the current season from the European Tour-staged event, the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.
He finished the first tournament by scoring an 8-under 280. Then he played the Commercialbank Qatar Masters presented by Dolphin Energy and secured the 5th position, his second best finish up till now.
After gaining respect in the Middle East, he arrived in the US and played the sensational event of the Northern Trust Open.
Garcia's performance was tremendous there. He finished tied for the 4th position and competed well for the title.
However, he was unable to continue his leading scoring performance at the WGC – Accenture Match Play Championship and WGC – Cadillac Championship.
He faced different hurdles and competitive rivals. He finished on the 33rd and 60th positions, respectively.
Later Garcia displayed an improved driving accuracy at the Transitions Championship and finished in the top-20 on the leaderboard.
Now, the Spaniard is heading to the Floridian site of the Bay Hill Club & Lodge. He is confident to lead the scores and rank in the top-20 golfers of the world.
The competition is tough and most of the world's top-ranked players are also in the field. The experts have selected Tiger Woods as the hottest contender of the title.
However, the Spanish professional is still left with ample chances to be impressive throughout the four-day tournament.
His seven PGA wins are enough to boost his confidence and make him the King of the Hill at Bay Hill Club & Lodge.
