Recently, there were rumours surrounding rifts between Jose Mourinho and Sergio Ramos and the Spanish defender has now admitted that there were differences between him and the Portuguese coach.
The rumours of a rift between Sergio Ramos and the Portuguese mentor, Jose Mourinho, have finally come out in the open as the Spaniard himself has admitted that there were differences between him and his coach.
Recently, Real Madrid faced the Premier League champions, Manchester City, in the UEFA Champions League and even though it was considered to be a tough game, Jose Mourinho decided to leave out Sergio Ramos from the game.
While many thought that Ramos was benched in order to give him rest and also in order to give the young French centre-back, Raphael Varane, some European exposure, others were of the opinion that it was in order to teach Sergio Ramos a lesson, as he was
not performing at his best during the games before this one.
However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Ramos-c33096 was back in the Real Madrid first team right in the following game which they played in the Spanish La Liga.
Sergio Ramos denied all rumours surrounding a fight with Jose Mourinho and claimed that everything is peaceful in the Real Madrid dressing room.
However, the Spanish defender has recently revealed that there were a few differences.
“We’ve had our differences at certain times and if anything needed sorting out then we always did it face-to-face and nobody heard about it. Our relationship today is very good.”
Sergio Ramos was recently given the award for being the best defender in La Liga and while speaking about this honour given to him, the Spanish defender said:
“I’m more in favour of collective awards than individual ones but obviously you don’t refuse them and that prompts you every day to keep working and fighting.”
“You can’t live in the past but last season will live in the memory as one of my greatest years.”
Real Madrid are currently eight points behind the league leaders, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, and this season the competition is intense and both of Los Blancos’ arch-rivals are currently above them.
Both these teams are currently favourites to not only win the Spanish La Liga, but also the UEFA Champions League. Currently, they have both lost only one game in the European competition.
