Real Madrid and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 defender Sergio Ramos revealed he was committed to the La Liga side after rumors linked him to a move to Chelsea in the summer. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is an admirer of the 24-year-old right-back c*m centre-back and is determined
to bring him to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
However, the young defender insisted he was a 100 percent committed to the Galaticos and had no intention of leaving the club anytime soon. He said while speaking to reporters, “I know I need to earn a few more stripes and I'm more than happy to accept that
challenge.”
Ramos claimed he was grateful for the opportunity of getting a chance to play alongside the likes of Zinedine Zidane and Raul. He also mentioned he was proud to serve under http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Iker-Casillas-c16815, the current skipper of Real Madrid and the Spain National side.
He said, “I've been here for seven years and I've absorbed the values of this great club by playing alongside legends like Zinedine Zidane and Raul. Now I'm sharing the captaincy with Iker Casillas and I have to set an example and help the newer players,
who don't know the club so well.”
The 24-year-old revealed he was grateful to the La Liga side that had made him into a much sought after player, and added, “As for the future, you can never say what's going to happen in football, although I am happy here. I'm very grateful to Sevilla and
Madrid for having molded me as a player and a person.”
Ramos joined Real Madrid in 2005 for a record fee of €27 million, the most paid for a Spanish teenager so far. He emerged from the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sevilla-FC-c40484 youth academy and caught the eye of the La Liga giants in his impressive displays in the UEFA Cup where he scored
against both Real Sociedad and Real Madrid.
In his six seasons at the club, Ramos has scored an impressive 30 goals. In times of emergency Ramos has been deployed at, and excelled at, the defensive midfield position. The Spaniard has also made it a habit to score on important occasions, often leading
his side to victory.
This is why the Blues are desperate to get hold of the highly talented defender, who has proved that experience and class are not restricted to older players. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 boss Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly set for a mass exodus at Stamford Bridge and is planning
to bring in younger players as replacements.
Ramos would make a perfect addition to the Chelsea squad, which recently saw the arrival of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863 and Inter Milan midfielder
