Sergio Ramos delighted with his team’s 6-2 win over his former club Sevilla – La Liga news

while Kaka and Ramos added a goal apiece.
The Spaniard mentioned that it was pleasing to see the spirit exhibited by his team against Sevilla in spite of knowing that the title is almost impossible to attain. He hailed the efforts of his team who played like true champions during the game and were
up for it from the word go.
Ramos opened the scoring for Los Blancos in the 24th minute when Mesut Ozil’s corner was headed in by the former Sevilla man. That goal opened the floodgates for the away side and they emerged deserved winners.
The 25-year-old claimed that three points were very important in order to boost the morale of his side. He conceded the title to Barcelona with just three games remaining in the season. Ramos admitted that it’s almost a lost cause unless Barca goes through
a massive slip. However, Ramos mentioned that Real will try to win the remaining three games of the season in order to end their season on a high.
The World Cup winner further stated, "Although the league is pretty tough to win, this was a match to take pride in as we played our hearts out. We did just that and we have another three points in the bag. I play for one team and I always give it my very
best.”
He enthused that in the game of football one can’t really predict a winner until the final whistle is blown and said that it’s never easy to win all the games. He demanded patience from Los Blancos faithful and promised to come back stronger in the upcoming
2011/12 season.
He concluded, “We deserved this victory. In football you sometimes win in very difficult venues such as this one and lose in others such as Zaragoza. Whatever the case may be, we need to continue working in order to maintain these good dynamics."
Real Madrid are currently second in La Liga with 83 points and are eight points adrift of the leaders http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 with three games left to play in the campaign.
