The Spanish defender denied rumours of rift with manager Jose Mourinho after defeat against Barcelona.

The said event occurred as Real Madrid were beaten by Barcelona in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final fixture.
In the wake of recent ramblings in the Spanish press, the former Sevilla stopper came out in the open and stated there have never been any ill feelings between him and the coach. Ramos praised Mourinho for his tactical prowess and insisted that he
only has admiration and respect for the Portuguese mentor.

him of his contract renewals.
"He never called me to scold me," the defender declared. "His office always brings back only good memories for me because I almost always go there to renew my contract."

Despite the lead, Ramos modestly reflected that they have their feet on the ground and will not celebrate until the title is secured.
"It will be tight," he argued. "Hopefully we do not lose points. We have our feet on the ground and going game by game with the utmost humility because they are all finals for us."
