Serial Killer in Australia?

My friend was telling me about a serial killer in Australia that she heard about on the news recently. I guess he got away with it all cause his house burnt down and destroyed all evidence...does anyone know the name of this guy or a website to find the info?

There is this guy Ivan Milat who is also known as the "backpacker". He is the guy who your friend was talking about.He is a serial killer in australia responsible for many murders.

Ivan Milat was caught, his house did not burn down, in fact they were able to guarantee that he will never see the light of day outside prison due to the magnitude of evidence left in his house.

There are currently several serial killers on the loose in Australia. There is one responsible for the Claremont murders in WA, another in SA who has been on the loose for many years, as well as one in the Kimberly. Not to mention the many mysterious disappearances of tourists in the NT. Take your pick love. I think you should stress more about being hit by our serial drunk drivers than a serial killer.
