I find this creative on a domestic "make-do" level. What would you use for functional purposes if you were a serial killer?

  1. your head for a rubbish tin. you are quite sick.

  2. Well, I think everyone should have a matched set of top-of-the-skull bowls, don't you? I mean, nothing says you care about your home like semi-matching crockery.

I think phalanges, as in finger bones, would also make nice toothpicks for appetizers if you sharpened one end.

Femurs are nice and strong, and after a good soak in the bathtub with some acid, a nice set would make a h**l of a lovely set of table legs. You'd have to pick them carefully, however, because it sucks to have that one leg which is shorter than the others and which requires a bent over matchbook to make the table work.

A pelvis would make a nice bread basket, too. Obviously, it wouldn't do for a salad bowl (too many open areas), but if your dinner rolls were big enough, and the pelvis narrow enough (go for a man's, maybe), you'd have a decorative bone accessory to grace your Thanksgiving spread.

Flesh just causes problems what with the odor, and skin has to be tanned, but I think there's a lot of potential in bones...

You're trying to "seduce me," aren't you?!?

    Well...

    It won't work...

(Unless you figure out a way to batter coat and deep fry the bacon for breakfast...)

  5. hahaha i dont have an answer for you but..........hahah thats funny

  6. FYI - More Ed Gein facts are that Ed used his taxidermy skills to preserve female vulvas which he kept in a shoe box & also used his taxidermy skills to skin an old woman & " tan " her skin. He used to strip naked & wrap himself in this " robe of tanned skin " & dance under the moonlight in the snow on his farm. Robert Bloch wrote a horror book based on this but realized that this would not be acceptable to the public in the late '50s so Bloch  had the character dress in women's clothing instead of skin & the " Hyde " side of Norman Bates in  " Psycho " was based on Ed Gein.

What is lesser known, is that Bloch based Norman's " Jekyll " or " Mother " side on " Calvin Beck " who was a chubby bespectacled real-life  Momma's Boy who  edited " Castle of Frankenstein " magazine & lived with a deranged over-bearing mother who accompanied Calvin everywhere, even as an adult, & would wait outside of public restrooms for him and if Calvin took more than a couple of minutes inside.....Momma would yell through the Door..." Calvin !!....You've been in there long enough !!  ..Come out right now !! "

  7. I would use the use the ribs  as wind chimes, such a sweet sound at night as the wind gently clanges them together.

  8. Do you know those planters that have openings, and plants not only grow from the top but out through those openings?

Wouldn't a skull make a fine planter for something like "hens and chicks?"

Geez, this sounds like  a sick person!  Yikes!

  10. Ed Gein was a very sick person. Though I have done indepth research on serial killers for my thesis and my upcoming book I would have to say that it would scare me to know I could even think like one. This question really makes me wonder about you as well. Maybe you need a psychologist???

  11. If you cut it off clean at the base, nailed it to the door by the head, the balls might make a nice knocker.
