AC Milan will be looking to present a towering display over Bologna, both to calm their smothering nerves after a jittery performance against Chievo Verona, and more importantly to get back at Juventus for stealing the Serie A supremacy from the champions.
Having secured their position in the top flight, Bologna will have little to lose in the clash against the Italian titans.
AC Milan (2) will host Bologna (12) in matchday 33 encounter of the 2011/12 Serie A on Sunday, April 22nd at 13:00 GMT.
The Rossoneri enter the game on the back of a 1-0 victory against the Flying Donkeys, while the Rossoblu triumphed over Cagliari 1-0, in their previous fixture.
The last meeting of the two teams in Serie A ended in 2-2 stalemate, earlier this season.

AC Milan
The match is a good opportunity for the Rossoneri to send jitters to the Bianconeri nerves with a win against the relatively modest opposition. The lead may eventually prove to be temporary, but the its effect on Juventus’s nerves will weigh substantially
as they prepare to face a stout AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603.
AC Milan are a strong team by all means, and their shaky performance against Chievo after a loss at the hands of Fiorentina will be enough to squeeze the last drops of complacency out of the team. The San Siro match could be the team’s best chance to leapfrog
Juventus in the run to the Scudetto, and a slip in this match could potentially end the title dreams for the Diavolo.
Bologna
The Felsinei have secured just one win from their last five encounters in the league. A lot of the dismal results could be related to the complacency facing the team after securing their security from relegation. Bologna’s triumphs this season have been
overshadowed by the ten games that the side lost by a margin of two goals. Moreover, their away form also spells trouble for the team, as they have failed to net a goal in their last two away games.
However, there is nothing to take away from the fact that the team has earned 40 points in the league, and have the capability to upset any top side on their day. Pioli’s men will look to hope for another faltering performance by the Diavolo, enough to allow
them to sneak a win that will be nothing short of a laurel for the club’s season.

Players to Watch:
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 (AC Milan)
The striker is having a season of his life with the Diavolo. His striking power in front of the goal this season has left many in awe of the Swede’s ability, and the spearhead remains the Rossoneri’s best hopes of a win in the Scudetto race. The striker
carries the stigma of failing performances towards the end of the season, and it will be interesting to see the striker’s efforts to dispel that notion, as he looks to capture the Golden Boot for himself and Scudetto for the club.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Di-Vaio-c23689 (Bologna)
The striker nicknamed ‘the Stoat’ has a lot of experience under his belt. His exceptional scoring has been the steam engine powering Bologna, and the team will once again look to their spearhead as they look to launch an upset in the Devil’s den.
Predictions
The Milan outfit will be the towering favourites of the game as they not only have some great talents among their ranks, but also have an unwavering hunger to dismantle Juventus from the top of the Serie A standings. Bologna have but little hope of survival
in San Siro, and even a draw will be considered a triumph for the modest side. Prediction 2-0 to AC Milan.
