  1. When I experienced pain in the same region I learned (after getting x-rays) that my wisdom teeth were the cause of my pain. I had molars growing inside my jaw-sideways and strategically located around a vein that - if cut, could cause death.

Although only one tooth was causing me pain, I opted to have all four wisdom teeth removed. I took a big white pill for pain before they put me 'under'. I counted to ten or backwards (I forget) after they hooked up a 'line' to my vein to knock my out. When I woke up, I didn't realize I had been unconscious for a whole hour and that my mouth was full of bloody gauze. I was so high (fmor the big, white pill) that I felt like flying out of my chair, but one of the bloody, saturated gauzes fell out of my mouth and I realized my oral operation had ceased.

If you can get x-rays and find that wisdom teeth are to blame; make sure they take them ALL out and that you are put to sleep; you definitely don't want to be awake for this torture. You will be mentally scarred for life if you are awake to feel the tugging, pulling, chipping and sawing the oral surgeon does in your mouth; you'll likely never return again if you try to feel brave about this kind of surgery.

    Good luck!

  2. What about your wisdom teeth, maybe your wisdom teeth are coming in. Mine started coming in at 15, and they made my other back teeth feel like that. If that;s what it is the pain just comes and goes.
