'm considering getting a tattoo that says "I am not afraid to walk this world alone" in Irish in memorial of a suicide victim who was extremely close to me and passed in February of this year. I've gotten a lot of answers that say things like "I am unafraid to walk the world on my own" but that sort of thing is not what I am looking for. It specifically has to say "I am not afraid to walk this world alone." It'd mean a great deal if someone can give me a final answer. Thanks! =]

  1. 'I am not afraid to walk this world alone'

  2. "I am not afraid to walk this world alone"

"Níl eagla orm siúil an domhan seo i m'aonair"

To walk is siúil" not "siúl"

You can use siúl though, it needs to follow a preposition, and is the more usual.

"Níl eagla orm an domhan seo a shiúl i m'aonair"

"Níl eagla orm chun siúl an domhan seo i m'aonair"

The last two are the more usual ways of saying it.

  3. Níl eagla orm siúl an domhan seo i m'aonar

I am not afraid: Níl eagla orm

    To walk: siúl

    This world: an domhan s****.>
    Alone: i m'aonar
